AUTOBODY BRIDGE PROGRAM

A bi-annual art project developed by bay area artists and art professors David Burke, Dickson Schneider, and Jacqueline Cooper. The Bridge Program provides intense immersion into the practice and profession
of being an artist and each term is three months
(12 weeks) in duration.
Our aim is to address the gap between the academic experience of studying art and the real world negotiations of life as an artist, as well as the needs of emerging artists who are committed to further their practice without necessarily attending a formal Graduate Program in Fine Arts.

6-9 Artists per term

2 Visiting Artist Lectures
Individual Critique
Mid-Term Group Critique
Group Exhibition

Cost: $550 per person per term
Each term culminates in a group exhibition that is conceived and curated by the artists with the support and advice of the program facilitators. If you are interested in participating, please contact either Dickson Schneider or David Burke.
